EVSE.org has been rebuilt. The new site focuses on one job: explaining electric vehicle supply equipment, the chargers, standards and rules behind EV charging, clearly and accurately.

What is new:

  • Educational guides on charging levels, connector standards, installation planning, reliability, and a glossary.
  • Regulatory information summarizing the federal programs, codes and standards that shape charging deployment, with links to the primary documents.
  • A sourcing standard. Every article lists its sources and shows the date its facts were last reviewed. Program rules change. The date tells you how current a page is.

EVSE.org is independent and is not a government website. If you find an error or a rule that has changed, tell us. Corrections are the most useful contribution anyone can make.
