About and contributors
Who publishes EVSE.org, the editorial standards every page follows, and how to contribute.
About EVSE.org
EVSE.org is an independent resource on electric vehicle supply equipment. It is not a government website and is not affiliated with any government agency. Its goal is to make the equipment, standards and rules behind EV charging understandable to the people who build, fund, maintain and use it.
Editorial standards
- Primary sources. Regulatory and numeric claims cite the document that establishes them: the Federal Register, eCFR, agency guidance, statute, or the original research.
- Review dates. Every article shows the date its facts were last checked.
- No fabrication. We do not publish invented testimonials, quotes, case studies or statistics. If we have nothing real to show, the page says so.
- Corrections. We fix errors promptly and update the review date.
- No vendor favoritism. Articles do not recommend products. Directory listings are never ranked by payment.
Contribute
We welcome contributions from people who work with charging infrastructure: engineers, electricians, field technicians, program administrators and researchers. Useful contributions include:
- Corrections and rule changes.
- Documented deployments for case studies.
- Explainers on topics you know first-hand.
