Case studies
Documented charging deployments: what was built, why, what it cost, and how it performs in service.
No case studies published yet
We publish a case study only when the deployment is real and documented. We do not publish composites, hypotheticals or marketing copy presented as a case study.
What we look for
- A named, verifiable site, with the host's permission to publish.
- Equipment and design: charger types, power levels, connectors, electrical service and load management.
- Cost and funding: total project cost and the programs that paid for it.
- Operating data: at least six months of utilization and uptime, measured per port.
- Lessons learned, including what went wrong.
Topics we want to cover
Rural corridor DC fast charging
Sites that fill gaps on long stretches of highway, often with limited utility capacity.
Multifamily Level 2
Shared charging for residents without a private garage, including load management and billing.
Fleet depots
Overnight charging for buses, vans or municipal vehicles, and managing demand charges.
Reliability turnarounds
Sites whose uptime was improved through maintenance, monitoring or hardware changes.
